Toolbook Knowledge Nuggets - CD release Feb 99
----------------------------------------------

Toolbook Knowledge Nuggets is a powerful offline reader
for Toolbook Discussion Forums, and provides a front end to
thousands of discussions on Toolbook on the internet (+ more).

All available Toolbook discussion databases come on this CD.

After installing, if you have purchased the complete PRO version
please enter your registration number into the Help/Register menu
of the software after you have installed it.

NOTE: Archives after Feb 99 have not been compiled onto this CD. We recommend searching
  http://www.asymetrix.com/support/online.html
and
http://www.deja.com/home_ps.shtml (type *toolb-l* in the Forum field)
for the latest toolbook discussions.

The LITE version (unregistered)
-------------------------------

The LITE version of Toolbook Knowledge Nuggets can read discussions
dated within 1 year of todays date. Register at the website to
unlock the full version. The LITE version can still search all
databases from all years, and report all search results.

More Toolbook discussion databases are freely available on the website
- visit the Australian Toolbook User Group - www.atug.com

A NOTE TO USERS of Toolbook Knowledge Nuggets prior to 1.05: The
default installation directory has been changed from
c:\tikbase to c:\tnuggets

The default sample database is in the folder $installDir$/nuggets
It should automatically become available for searching and browsing
the first time you run the Knowledge Nugget Reader Engine.

This program relies on a bug-fixed version of TB50vbx.dll, which is
automatically copied to your runtime/development Toolbook folder.

THE TOOLBOOK 5 RUNTIME USED IN THIS INSTALLATION DOES NOT CHANGE
YOUR TBLOAD OR .TBK ASSOCIATIONS, AND IS SAFE TO INSTALL ON SYSTEMS
WITH A TOOLBOOK 6 OR TOOLBOOK 4 DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT.

Happy Browsing!
